RFE/RL and the Open Society Institute (see both above) formed OMRI, the Open Media Research Institute, to provide up-to-date information and news reports from Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. They OMRI publishes Transition (a news magazine) They also provide a searchable directory, OMRI Linx, of links relevant to the region.
